These wonderful benches are part of a major
remodeling of the Westfield Century City Shopping
Mall completed in December 2005. In an effort to
create an up-scale environment for shoppers, Rios
Clementi Hale Studios designed attractive eating
and gathering areas created around the interiorly
lite benches. Made of mangaris wood and steel, the
benches also house planters made of fiberglass
using live plants to create individual spaces for
shoppers to rest and have a meal.

Lexington was selected by Taslimi Construction Company and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) architects to provide technical design, fabrication and installation of SOM’s very unique sculpture design, called the “Globe Curtain”. SOM designed the Globe Curtain for Comerica Bank‘s newest and most high profile location on Avenue of the Stars in Century City, CA. The Globe Curtain was designed to help create a more intimate feel to the bank due to the very high ceilings. The design team at Lexington faced a huge challenge…create over 300 linear feet of 20 foot long ‘strings’ of polished acrylic balls, strung together with custom fabricated stainless steel and aluminum rods and tubes. Each string was designed to hang from the 23 foot ceiling on 3 ‘tracks’. Overall the Globe Curtain consists of over 28,000 custom parts!

Lexington was selected by the legendary jewelry company Van Cleef & Arpels to design, fabricate and install a unique jewelry exhibit named “The Birdcage”. The exhibit was inspired by Van Cleef & Arpels’ “Centennial Alhambra” 100 year anniversary, celebrated by showcasing their exclusive “Byzantine Alhambra Collection” of fine jewelry. The project was especially challenging since the only information provided to Lexington were photographs of a previous exhibit in Hong Kong. Lexington’s talented designers and craftsmen recreated a scaled down version of the entire exhibit…from the small acrylic ring stands to the 30 foot diameter, custom fabricated “Birdcage”. Once fabricated, the exhibit was installed into Jewel Court at the world-class South Coast Plaza shopping center in Costa Mesa, CA for a 3 week run.

Lexington created storefronts for DFS Stores in the Downtown Disney shopping area just outside the Anaheim Park.
Coordination of the project was handled through Collings Incorporated in Las Vegas NV. Facade elements include a 40' surfboard
faced with 6 scaled surfboards and neon light box.
The interior of the surf shop is themed as a pier complete with oversized wood
column fixtures and overhead planking and organic shaped corrugated roofs. A large fiberglass inverted watch face creates an awning
as you enter the watch store. A 20' tall time machine links two of the stores together as a passageway. Other elements include
custom metal and acrylic awnings, blade signs for 4 stores and a sundial ceiling.

Lexington constructed monitor shrouds for the television network system in Ontario Mills, Concord Mills and Arizona Mills.
Custom facades and headers were designed and built for Katy Mills. Lexington created a 32' compass constructed of steel and rigged from the ceiling,
the unit provided lighting as well as displayed tenant graphics and advertisements. Additional elements for Grapevine include a 64' diameter aluminum
nautilus and custom pendant lamp drops. Ontario Mills incorporated murals, sculptures, graphics and animated elements. One of the show action pieces is a
large urn, which is watered by an overhead watering can, and a bouquet of flowers emerges into a domed mural soffit.
