Frazier Park Library
Lexington worked with Design Studio to add character to the new Frazier Park Library. The library entrance’s windows received a "stained glass" treatment of fall foliage. An artfully hand-painted mural depicts a peaceful scene with flora and fauna indigenous to the Frazier Park landscape. Patrons enter the children’s area through a 13' tall open-book portal, featuring beautifully hand-painted “encyclopedia” pages and a three-dimensional butterfly.

University of Oregon Ford Alumni Center
Lexington was chosen by designer Second Story Interactive Studios to technically design and fabricate their dynamic design for the new Ford Alumni Center. A unique, electronic, wooden wall with two large media displays constantly cycle through the thousands of names of alumni who contribute to the University each year. Hidden within the wooden slats that comprise the wall substrate are 18 LED signage displays connected to an Alumni Foundation database. Names emanate through the Douglas-fir veneer, constantly cascading across the wall.
Nearby, nine towering floor-to-ceiling media display Cascade panels constantly deliver changing information. The Cascades have illuminated rear panels with translucent environmental graphics and slide on a track system built into the floors and ceilings running throughout the Interpretive Center. A searchable touch table clad in Douglas-fir veneer allows visitors to search for alumni.

Fairmount Park Sensory Walls
The three carousel themed sensory walls were developed in a collaborative effort with Shane’s Inspiration as a featured element for the new Universally Accessible Playground at Fairmount Park. The walls are designed to incorporate the history of Fairmount Park – a tribute to the merry-go-round that once graced the park. They stimulate and engage children of all abilities with texture, sound, kaleidoscopes, interactive drums, wheels, and mirrored globes. The playground opened in June 2010.

Corona-Norco Family YMCA
This exhibit was designed to be universally accessible for disabled and able bodied children at a Shane's Inspiration park. It has sound pucks the kids activate that have short bursts of animal and bird calls. Water flows from the top at one end and trails down a patter of polished stones and colored glass. Dinosaur bones, shells, marbles, etc. are embedded in the sculpted rock to give a textural experience to children with no sight. Lexington was responsible for the concept design and the project was completed in August 2003.

Aquarium of the Pacific
Lexington fabricated and installed environmental graphics and signage for the Aquarium of the Pacific, which takes its visitors on a journey of discovery through the world's largest ocean. Graphics were both decorative and informational, featuring artwork in the style native to the different Pacific regions from sunny Southern California and Baja, to the frigid waters of the North Pacific, to the colorful reefs of the Tropical Pacific. In addition, Lexington fabricated and installed several interactive outdoor exhibits for children, including an archer fish and a tugboat.

Children's Hospital Los Angeles
Lexington developed the MY LA, MY CHLA themed experience for the new Gateway lobby of the hospital. Themed exhibit elements include exterior oversized wood blocks with the CHLA logo, exterior custom glass panels of artwork created by patients, a Welcome Wall, information desk, interactive P-LA-Y Tower, LA-Phant soft play sculpture, Wave Wall, Story Corner, Donor Wall, themed aquarium and more.
The brightly colored environments and fun interactives help relax both children and their parents, transforming what is usually an unpleasant experience into a more comfortable and even entertaining one.
