WEST VALLEY POLICE MEMORIAL
On Friday, February 6, 2009, one year since the first and only Los Angeles SWAT team member was killed while on duty, Lexington took part in the dedication of a memorial to fallen officers of the West Valley Police Station. Lexington designed and built the memorial, the third police memorial the company has created in recent years. The project was donated to the Los Angeles Police Department by Lexington and included a granite pedestal, memorial plaques, a bronze sculpture, copper-plated patrol boots and a large, aluminum-mounted direct print graphic.

The dedication ceremony was attended by Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton and several legislators as well as family members of the fallen officers. Lexington’s long-time Production Manager, Scott Mello, who also designed the graphic element, accepted a plaque of appreciation from the police department. Lexington is honored to have been able to contribute to its local community in this way.
